I. Trust in spiritual strength
* Seek the Lord and His strength; seek His face continually (1 Chron. 16:11)
- Review Daniel 10:15-18.
- Now when the attendant of the man of God had risen early and gone out, behold, an army with horses and chariots was circling the city. And his servant said to him, "Alas, my master! What shall we do?" So he answered, "Do not fear, for those who are with us are more than those who are with them." Then Elisha prayed and said, "O Lord, I pray, open his eyes that he may see." And the Lord opened the servant's eyes and he saw; and behold, the mountain was full of horses and chariots of fire all around Elisha (2 Kings 6:15-17).
II. Enjoy our spiritual peace
* The God of peace will soon crush Satan under your feet (Romans 16:20a).
- He said, "O man of high esteem, do not be afraid. Peace be with you; take courage and be courageous!" Now as soon as he spoke to me, I received strength and said, "May my lord speak, for you have strengthened me." Then he said, "Do you understand why I came to you? But I shall now return to fight against the prince of Persia; so I am going forth, and behold, the prince of Greece is about to come (Daniel 10:19, 20).
- Therefore, having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ (Romans 5:1).
III. Fight with spiritual truth
* For they exchanged the truth of God for a lie (Romans 1:25a).
- "However, I will tell you what is inscribed in the writing of truth. Yet there is no one who stands firmly with me against these forces except Michael your prince" (Daniel 10:21).
- Then that lawless one will be revealed whom the Lord will slay with the breath of His mouth and bring to an end by the appearance of His coming; that is, the one whose coming is in accord with the activity of Satan, with all power and signs and false wonders, and with all the deception of wickedness for those who perish, because they did not receive the love of the truth so as to be saved (2 Thessalonians 2:8-10).
