Life group flow and discussion questions

"Back to Grace"

An important Guideline of Life Groups: Discuss in your Life Group the importance of going back to the grace of the gospel and walking in freedom.

Getting Started:

  1. What does walking in the freedom of the gospel mean to you?
  2. In light of our memory verse Galatians 5:13 do you find yourself using this freedom as an opportunity for the flesh or as an opportunity to serve one another in love?
  3. What about Paul's testimony sticks out to you? And why?
  4. Do you find yourself having more grace for yourself or others?

Discussing Truths:

  1. What "trash" do you find yourself holding on to even though God has severed the bonds or ties?
  2. Do you believe that what 2 Timothy 3:16-17 says is true about the Word of God?
  3. Do you believe in the power of Amen or is it simply an absent-minded phrase you say?

Now What? Application:

  1. How can you prioritize using our freedom in the gospel to glorify Christ?
  2. Practice Romans road with someone so that you are ready to share the reason for the hope that you have 1 Peter 3:15
